Für Donnerstag, 16. März, lädt die Bad Sodener Stadtverwaltung zum Kindertheaterstück „Nils Holgersson“ ins Bürgerhaus Neuenhain ein. Die Kleine Oper Bad Homburg führt diese Geschichte für Kinder ab fünf Jahren als klassisches Familienmusical mit echten Opernsängern auf.

Nils Holgersson lebt auf einem Bauernhof in Schweden und hat den Ruf, ein Taugenichts zu sein. Auch Tieren gegenüber ist er nicht sehr freundlich. Er hat nur Unfug im Kopf, weshalb ihn ein Kobold zur Strafe in einen kleinen Wichtel verwandelt. Um wieder groß werden zu können, muss Nils ein Rätsel lösen. Nämlich: Was haben die Länder Deutschland, Österreich, Italien, Spanien, Frankreich und Schottland gemeinsam? Mit der Hausgans Martin macht sich Nils auf den Weg das Rätsel zu lösen. Dabei lernt er einiges über das jeweilige Land, seine Traditionen und Eigenheiten.
